L’agnello è simbolo di innocenza e purezza e per i cristiani rappresenta Gesù. In Italia è tradizione mangiare l’agnello o il capretto il giorno di Pasqua. Questa tradizione però è sempre meno sentita dagli italiani. Tantissime persone non mangiano l’agnello, ma preferiscono altri tipi di carne o piatti vegetariani o vegani. E se proprio vuoi mangiare un agnello… puoi fare una bella torta a forma di agnello!

Traduzione

The lamb is a symbol of innocence and purity and for Christians it represents Jesus. In Italy, it is traditional to eat lamb or kid on Easter Day. However, this tradition is less and less appreciated by Italians.
Many people do not eat lamb, preferring other meats or vegetarian or vegan dishes. And if you really want to eat a lamb… you can bake a nice cake in the shape of a lamb!
