ORNIMI Editions is the evolution of a publishing house founded in 1989 by a teacher with international experience in teaching Italian to foreigners.
The entire staff consists of teachers specialised and qualified in teaching Italian to foreigners as L2 (Italian for foreigners in Italy) and LS (Italian for foreigners abroad). This provides a tangible understanding of the real needs of teachers, schools and students. Awareness and didactic experience, a real didactic culture, this is the basis of ORNIMI’s mission: to create innovative and high quality teaching materials for the Italian language.
In addition, ORNIMI Editions aims to ensure continuous and actual contact with teachers by providing didactic advice and teacher training through didactic workshops in teaching centres, schools and universities.

CORSI
The Italian language course in alto! by Ornimi is aimed at adult learners and young adults. It is built around a story that tells of the difficulties faced by three young foreign students studying in Italy and the relationships they form with native speakers. The course covers 5 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (from A1 to C1).
To complement the course books, ORNIMI offers numerous accompanying teaching materials, the teacher’s manuals, audio files and transcriptions online for free download. In the free content section, there are also great didactic posters for the classroom to download as pdf.
