Chuppon Bunny – Self-watering Bunny with Wild Strawberry
Sip, sip, sip!
That’s fun! Cute! Let plants grow and make them smile. This cute bunny likes to drink through a straw and thus supplies the plant on its back with water.
Chuppons are cute figures from Japan that like to drink through a straw. As they sip, the water feeds the plant on their backs. Simply place a chuppon on the side of a glass and you will see and be amazed! The chuppons fit on any glass or cup of clean water. If nothing comes of the seed or the plant was too demanding, you can also use your Chuppon for other seeds such as cress with guaranteed success.
The Chuppon Bunny set contains:
- 1 x Chuppon animal with plastic straw
- 1 x packet of seeds
- 1 x peat pellet
- 1 x instruction manual (Japanese, English, French, Spanish).
Care instructions
- When sowing, avoid midsummer and midwinter if possible and choose a time that is easy to handle. (If the temperature does not reach the optimum temperature for germination and cultivation, germination may not occur or growth may be poor).
- Make sure that the soil surface does not dry out until germination and during the first stages of growth.
- Do not use the seeds as food or animal feed.
- Handle with care so that children do not accidentally put seeds or soil in their mouths.
- Protect from direct sunlight and moisture and store in a cool place until cultivation begins.
- After germination, place in a sunny and well-ventilated place. To pour, simply add water to the cup when the cup contains no (or only a little) water.
- Sunlight is necessary for plant growth. Please cultivate them in a place that is exposed to sunlight, e.g. on a balcony or by a window.
How to get started
Water the peat pellets and plant the seeds according to the illustrated instructions. After a few days, the seeds will germinate given sufficient warmth and moisture. The water is sucked up from the cup and is connected to the basket, and the plant grows.
