Siamo pronti?

«Siamo pronti?»
«Devo solo lavarmi i denti» dice Padroncina. Poi corre in bagno, afferra spazzolino e dentifricio e inizia a lavarsi i denti.

TRADUZIONE

1. Are we ready?
«This will be a nice hike*», says Mom in a good mood, with the route map in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. It is the morning of the first day of our vacation and I am already very excited. The trip yesterday was very exhausting and last night I slept like a rock, but now I am ready to spend a nice day in nature!

Buddy is also on vacation with us. Buddy is my favourite person – after Mom of course – and he is my big friend. Therefore I call him Buddy!
«Sleeping bag, flashlight, water bottle,…» he mumbles to himself while checking his backpack.
«I think we have everything» he finally says and closes the zipper. «Are we ready?»
«I just have to brush my teeth» says Mom. She puts the map in her backpack and quickly rinses the cup in the sink. Then she runs into the bathroom, gets toothbrush and toothpaste and starts brushing her teeth. Cody and I happily wag our tails and run for the door.
We’re ready!
