Sciarpetta Verde

EPISODIO 1

C’era una volta una bambina che indossava sempre una sciarpa verde che le aveva regalato la nonna. Per questo tutti la chiamavano Sciarpetta Verde. Viveva in una bella casa vicino a una grande bosco. Alla fine del bosco viveva sua nonna.

Un giorno la mamma le ha dato un cestino e le ha detto: «La nonna è malata. Va’ da lei e portale questa torta e questo buon tè. Ma fa’ attenzione! Il bosco è pieno di animali pericolosi. Segui sempre il sentiero!»

E così Sciarpetta Verde si è messa in cammino.

Once upon a time there was a little girl who always wore a green scarf that her grandmother had given her. That’s why everyone called her the Little Green Scarf. She lived in a beautiful house near a large forest. At the end of the forest lived her grandmother.

One day, her mother gave her a basket and told her: «Grandmother is sick. Go to her and bring her this cake and this good tea. But be careful! The forest is full of dangerous animals. Always follow the path!»

And so Little Green Scarf set off.

EPISODIO 2

Mentre camminava nel bosco, Sciarpetta Verde ha pensato: Voglio raccogliere qualche fungo per la nonna, così possiamo cucinare un bel risotto ai funghi.

E così ha abbandonato il sentiero…

«Buongiorno, bambina» ha detto un gatto selvatico. «Che cosa fai nel bosco tutta sola?»
«Raccolgo dei funghi per la mia nonna malata. E le porto anche un buon tè e la torta che ha fatto la mamma» ha risposto Sciarpetta Verde.
«Una torta, eh? La nonna è davvero fortunata…» ha detto il gatto selvatico, già con l’acquolina in bocca.
«E dimmi, la nonna abita qui vicino?»
«Alla fine del bosco, ci vogliono ancora 10 minuti!»

While she was walking in the woods, Little Green Scarf thought: I want to collect some mushrooms for my granny, so we can cook a nice mushroom risotto.

And so she left the path…

«Good morning, little girl» says the wild cat. «What do you do in the woods all by yourself?»
«I pick some mushrooms for my sick granny. And I also bring her a good tea and the cake that Mom made» answers Little Green Scarf.

«A cake, uh? Granny is really lucky…» said the wild cat, already with its mouth watering.
«And tell me, does Granny live nearby?»
«At the end of the forest, it takes another 10 minutes!»

EPISODIO 3

Mentre Sciarpetta Verde raccoglieva altri funghi, il gatto selvatico è corso a casa della nonna.
La finestra era aperta. La nonna era a letto e parlava al telefono.

«Sì, ho ancora la febbre. 39. Come dici? Sciarpetta Verde sta venendo qui con una torta e del tè? Ottimo! Che torta hai fatto?»
Ma la nonna non sembrava contenta mentre ascoltava la risposta.
«Una torta alle prugne? Mmm… Ok, grazie. Ciao.»

Poi la nonna ha messo giù il telefono. In quel momento, il gatto selvatico è entrato in casa con un grande balzo.

While Little Green Scarf was picking up more mushrooms, the wild cat ran to granny’s house. Granny was in bed and she was talking on the phone.

But granny didn’t seem happy while she was listening to the answer.
«A plum cake? Mmh… Okay, thanks. Bye.»

Then granny put down the phone. At that moment, the wild cat entered the house with a big leap.

EPISODIO 4

Dopo aver raccolto un po’ di funghi, Sciarpetta Verde è arrivata a casa della nonna. È entrata ed è andata da lei, che si trovava in camera da letto. Le ha mostrato i funghi, il tè e la torta.

Ma la nonna aveva un aspetto davvero strano…

«Nonnina, che faccia pelosa che hai!»
«Lo so, tesoro, devo andare dall’estetista…»
«Nonnina, ma hai le orecchie a punta!»
«Così posso sentire bene le tue lamentele, tesoro mio.»
«Nonnina, ma quella è una coda???»
«Santo cielo, è chiaro che non sono tua nonna!»

E il gatto selvatico ha fatto un grande balzo e… ha mangiato la torta in un sol boccone!

After picking up some mushrooms, Little Green Scarf came to grandma’s house. She came in and went to her grandma, who was in the bedroom. Then she showed her the mushrooms, the tea and the cake.

But her grandma looked really weird…

«Granny, what a hairy face you have!»

And the wild cat made a great leap and… ate the cake in one bite!

EPISODIO 5

La nonna possiede molti animali: delle galline, un gallo, un cavallo, due caprette e alcuni conigli. Per questo il veterinario va regolarmente da lei per controllare che gli animali stiano bene. In quel momento stava visitando il cavallo, quando ha sentito urlare. Allora è corso subito in casa. Sciarpetta Verde lo ha visto e ha urlato: «Aiuto! Questo gattaccio ha mangiato la torta! E probabilmente ha fatto del male alla mia nonnina!»

Senza esitare, il veterinario ha tirato fuori dalla tasca una siringa e l’ha conficcata con forza nel sedere del gatto. Il gatto selvatico ha miagolato forte, poi ha chiuso gli occhi ed è caduto a terra come un sacco di patate.

Grandma owns many animals: some hens, a rooster, a horse, two goats and some rabbits. Therefore, the veterinarian visits her regularly to check that the animals are okay. Without hesitation, the vet pulled a syringe out of his pocket and stuck it in the cat’s butt. The wild cat mewed loudly, then his eyes closed and he fell to the ground like a bag of potatoes.

EPISODIO 6

«Fermo!» ha urlato la nonna uscendo dall’armadio.
«Nonnina, stai bene!» ha esclamato Sciarpetta Verde felice di rivedere la sua nonnina sana e salva. La nonna è corsa subito dal gatto selvatico e l’ha preso in braccio.

«Che cosa hai fatto a questo povero micio?»
«Non preoccuparti, sta solo dormendo. Gli ho dato un sonnifero» ha risposto il veterinario un po’ imbarazzato.
«Ma nonnina, che cosa ci facevi nell’armadio?»

E mentre coccolava il gatto addormentato, ha spiegato: «Questo povero micio era molto affamato. Così gli ho proposto di fare scambio e di mangiare la torta al posto mio, dato che a me non piace la torta alle prugne…»

«Stop!» screamed Grandma walking out of the closet.
«Granny, you’re fine!» exclaimed Little Green Scarf, happy to see her granny back safe and sound. Grandma ran straight to the wild cat and took him in her arms.

«What have you done to this poor kitten?»
«Don’t worry, he’s just sleeping. I gave him a soporific» replied the vet, a little embarrassed.
«But Granny, what were you doing in the closet?»

And while she was cuddling the sleeping cat, she explained: «This poor kitty was very hungry. So I suggested that we could switch places and that he eats the cake for me, since I don’t like plum cake…»

EPISODIO 7

«Ma non potevi dirmelo che la torta non ti piaceva?» ha chiesto Sciarpetta Verde perplessa.
«Ma tesoro, non volevo offenderti…» ha detto la nonna.

Intanto il gatto selvatico ha aperto gli occhi.
«Come stai?» gli ha chiesto gentilmente la nonna.
«Insomma, mi fa un po’ male la testa…» ha risposto lui.
Barcollando un po’ è andato verso la porta.
«Bene, allora io vado… È stato un piacere…»
«Ma dove vai? Perché non resti qui con me? Potrai mangiare quanto vuoi! A patto che non mangi i pulcini…» ha detto la nonna sorridendo.

Commosso da tanta gentilezza, il gatto selvatico ha accettato. E da quel giorno, il gatto selv, ehm, domestico ha vissuto felice e contento a casa della nonna.
