All‘inizio Sissi pensa: cibo!

It is Christmas Eve. On the terrace the Christmas tree is switched on and is lightening the night. Tomcat Sissi sits on the balustrade and looks fascinated at the little lights on the tree.

But what is happening now? A large black and white bird, a magpie, lands on the tree. At first Sissi thinks: food! But it’s Christmas Eve and you don’t eat guests. It is the holiday of love, not only between people, but also between animals.

Sissi looks at the tree and the magpie, when suddenly he hears a noise. A mouse arrives. Do not eat the guests, do NOT eat the guests… Sissi is thinking and sighs. The mouse sits down on the other side of the tree.

Shortly after, a fox arrives. Sissi knows him, he lives in the forest nearby. Sometimes he crosses the field and comes to the edge of Sissi’s garden. Sissi doesn’t like the fox very much, they fight sometimes. But it’s Christmas and tonight they are all friends. The fox is happy not to spend Christmas alone.

Sissi’s friend, the tomcat Franz, sleeps nearby. But suddenly he wakes up. What is going on? Immediately he runs to the terrace: at this moment the hedgehog who lives in the garden arrives. Instantly Franz starts sniffing him and… ouch! Franz has another scratch on his nose, as always when he forgets that this animal is dangerous. The hedgehog’s spines hurt!

Then Franz looks around. How nice, a party! He and the hedgehog sit down next to the others.

Meanwhile, the people in the house are eating their Christmas dinner with some friends. Then they are chatting a little, and finally the guests say goodbye and go home.

Sissi and Franz’s mom looks out the patio door – what a surprise! Around the Christmas tree are so many animals, all getting along with each other.

Next to Sissi are a fox and a mouse, all of them are very close and cuddling. On the tree, a magpie is singing a Christmas song. The hedgehog has put down his spines and finally Franz can sniff him – Franz is really pleased.

Mom is very touched, sits down on the sofa and watches this little nativity scene for a long time.

It really is a Christmas miracle.
