«… poi vi porto i regali, i dolci, ho ho ho!»
Franz si è alzato di scatto: Regali? Dolci? Per me? Adoro i regali!

One evening, while his humans were watching a Christmas movie on Netflix, tomcat Franz slept happily on the couch. Suddenly he heard something very interesting:
«…then I will bring you gifts, sweets, ho ho ho!»
Franz stood up abruptly: Gifts? Sweets? For me? I love gifts!
He listened carefully to what was said in the film and discovered something surprising: there is a chubby man (like Franz!) with strange red clothes who brings gifts to good children every year.
Franz thought: Maybe even to good cats? I‘ll try it! And he listened very carefully to the instructions for receiving gifts.
He thought it wasn‘t too difficult: he had to hang some socks by the fireplace and then the chubby man puts the gifts in them. So Franz made a plan. He waited for the humans to fall asleep and then went hunting for socks. Everything went very well. Franz found four beautiful stockings: two with cats – perfect for him and his friend, the tomcat Sissi (he‘s a male with a female name, but it‘s not his fault…), a very big one – perfect for dad who always eats a lot, and one with a Christmas motif for his mom.
But as he was looking at them, he thought: My stocking seems a bit small. It‘s better to get another one for me because I always eat a lot, too. So he went to get another Christmas sock.
Franz was very pleased with his work. He hung up all his stockings by the fireplace and waited, but no one came. After all, it wasn‘t Christmas Eve, but Franz didn‘t know that. He doesn‘t understand anything about time and dates! For him every day is a holiday. In the end he was so tired that he fell asleep.
The next day, his mom got up and looked for her stockings, but why were there only unmatched stockings in the closet!? She went to the living room to look for the missing stockings and saw what Franz had done! One stocking for each member of his family – and one more for Franz, all hanging by the fireplace for Santa Claus! Mum was very moved. Since Franz was still asleep, she silently filled all the stockings: treats for the cats, chocolate for dad and chips for her because she doesn‘t like sweets. What a joy when Franz woke up! He was very happy and also proud that his plan had succeeded, and he talked about it all day: meow meow meow meow!
