Graphic Novel in italiano

Graphic novel in Italian
An extraordinary illustrated biography that traces the life, works and artistic legacy of one of the greatest artists of all time.
From his apprenticeship in Perugino’s workshop to his encounters with the other two members of the so-called trinity of the Renaissance, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, to the call that changed his life when, at the age of only 25, Raphael moved to Rome at the behest of Pope Julius II to decorate the Vatican halls.
Raphael Sanzio was one of the most admired painters of the Italian Renaissance. His work profoundly influenced the artistic language of the centuries to come, giving rise to a school that made art “in his own way” and that goes by the name of Mannerism. Despite his untimely death at the age of 37, he was an extremely productive painter who gave the world some of the most beautiful masterpieces of the 16th century such as the series of Madonnas with Child and the decoration of the Vatican Rooms.
