Trovare un uomo addormentato nel parco, cospargerlo di benzina e dargli fuoco sembra un modo eccitante di concludere la serata a un gruppo di giovani teppisti; ma c’è un altro ragazzo, Luca, che non fa parte del branco e ha assistito con orrore alla scena, senza osare intervenire. Il senso di colpa non gli dà tregua: va a trovare l’uomo in ospedale e scopre che è un cingalese di nome Rajiva, e vende rose agli angoli delle strade; ora che è immobilizzato a letto, in gravi condizioni, la sua famiglia è condannata a patire la fame.
Luca prende una decisione coraggiosa: andrà lui a vendere le rose al posto di Rajiva, travestito da immigrato. È l’inizio di una spiazzante avventura che lo costringe ad abbandonare le sue abitudini di ragazzo di buona famiglia per vedere il mondo dall’altra parte, quella degli ultimi, degli esclusi, sperimentando sulla propria pelle umiliazioni, intolleranza e razzismo.
A poco a poco, mentre la sua amicizia con Rajiva si approfondisce, Luca impara a sentire quel vincolo di solidarietà e appartenenza reciproca che lega tra loro tutti gli esseri e al quale diamo il nome di «compassione».

Shipping costs
Shipping within Germany is free of charge from 25 Euro, for orders under 25 Euro we charge a flat rate of 3.90 Euro shipping costs.
Orders with delivery to Austria and Italy are free of shipping costs from 99 Euro, for orders under 99 Euro there are weight-dependent shipping costs from 8.50 Euro, which are automatically calculated at the checkout.
We also ship to Switzerland from 12.00 Euro. All orders outside the EU are exclusive of VAT, but additional import duties may apply.
There is no minimum order value.
Delivery
We ship with DHL and Deutsche Post to Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland.
The shipments are usually handed over to the shipping service provider within 24 hours on working days or on the day after receipt of payment. The delivery time is usually 2-4 working days within Germany or 1-3 weeks for deliveries to other countries.
You will always receive a tracking number, which you can use to track the current status of your delivery online.
