Lucia and Nicola are two fourteen-year-olds who lead a double life. On the Internet they are good friends, in reality they ignore each other.
She lives with her mother in her grandfather’s hotel and he, who attends hotel management school, does an internship as a waiter in the hotel restaurant.
Two jealous friends and a nasty affair at Meggy’s nearby animal shelter will show the kids that appearances can be deceiving and some monsters really do exist and not just in fairy tales.
